SCS were contracted to carry out the drilling, cutting and fire stopping on the Newbury Parkway project. This involved a variety of diamond drilling and saw cutting across the project. They have also completed all of the fire stopping and air sealing works to the project. They carried this out over a period of 2 years. Their workforce was always well trained and briefed by their dedicated on site supervision. They have managed to maintain a high degree of professionalism and good reaction time to important last minute tasks. They have also been contracted to carry out the drilling at the Reading Station Redevelopment Project. They have been on site for about 3 months and are performing well. They are conversant with the NR requirements. I have now used SCS on many projects in the past and will continue to work with them in the future.

In all these activities Specialist Cutting Services have worked to high standards of safety, health, environmental and quality management. Their off site services of Safety Inspections and delivery of toolbox talks fits well with the Wates safety philosophy and their operatives have shown willing to get involved with site safety initiatives.
